A Message from the Pokémon Masters EX Team (Vol. 15)

Greetings, Trainers.

We’re the producers of Pokémon Masters EX, Yu Sasaki and Tetsuya Iguchi, here with a new message for you.

Today, we’ll tell you about our plans to adjust the balance of the game by increasing the amount of some items that are given as rewards and by providing more chances to earn rewards.

This should make rewards more accessible to those just getting started in the game. For veteran Trainers, we’re preparing additional challenging content along with accompanying rewards, so we hope everyone will be able to enjoy the game even more with these adjustments.

Adjustments to Reward Amounts

As we approach the end of the year, we’ll adjust the amount of certain rewards that you can obtain through various events and rallies.

In the event that begins at the end of November, you’ll be able to obtain 5★ Power-Ups, and the number of obtainable 5★-Guaranteed Scout Tickets and Move Candy Coins will be increased.

See below for details. Please note that the numbers below reflect the maximum amount of items you’ll be able to get by completing things like events and battles in the Champion Stadium.

Main Adjustments:

  • 5★ Power-Ups

End of Nov. through end of Dec.: 5★ Power-Up ×2
End of Dec. through end of Jan.: 5★ Power-Up ×2

  • 5★ Scout Tickets

End of Nov. through end of Dec.: 5★ Scout Ticket ×18
End of Dec. through end of Jan.: 5★ Scout Ticket ×34

  • Move Candy Coins (all three types total)

End of Nov. through end of Dec.: Move Candy Coin ×7
End of Dec. through end of Jan.: Move Candy Coin ×10

In addition, we have various events and rallies planned for the future, and we are exploring ways to provide opportunities to get rewards from them.

Reducing Stamina Recovery Time

In the update that will be released around the end of December, we plan to further reduce the amount of time needed to recover stamina.

  • Stamina recovery time will change from one point of stamina every six minutes to one point of stamina every four minutes.

The Champion Stadium Update

In an update in late December, we will add master mode as a new way to play the Champion Stadium.

Master mode is a new feature in which winning battles with added challenges will allow you to get even more rewards.
Before battle, you can select options that will give your opponent advantages. If you win the battle, you’ll receive points corresponding to the options you chose.

Based on your total points earned each week, you’ll be able to get items such as 5★ Power-Ups, ★ Power-Up Tickets, and Move Candy Coins as rewards. These rewards can be earned in addition to the adjusted reward amounts listed in the section above.

Legendary Events

We are currently working hard to bring you a new legendary event in February.

Also, the level caps of sync pairs that can join your team from previous legendary events will be unlocked when those events return.

We hope you look forward to both new and returning legendary events.

What to Expect in the Next Message

Our next message is scheduled for late December.
In it, we hope to share information about events that will take place during the New Year’s holiday season, as well as updates heading into the one-and-a-half year mark since the game’s launch.

Finally, from the end of November through the end of December, we plan to have various rallies and the debut of new sync pairs.
Join us daily to maximize your rewards!

We’re always working hard to deliver updates and improvements that make the world of Pokémon Masters EX as fun as possible.

We prioritize Trainers’ feedback throughout the development process, so don’t hesitate to let us know what you think.

Until next time, thank you for playing Pokémon Masters EX.
