A Message from the Pokémon Masters EX Team (Vol. 29)

Greetings, Trainers.

We’re the producers of Pokémon Masters EX, Yu Sasaki and Tetsuya Iguchi, here with a new message for you.

Today, we’ll focus on details about Rallies and events for the beginning of the new year.

Happy New Year!

First off, we’d like to wish a happy new year to all players and thank you for your support.

As we enter a new year in Pokémon Masters EX, the whole development team will continue to do its best to provide you with the best experience possible, so we hope you continue to enjoy your adventures on Pasio.

Story Event New Year and New Friends Is Under Way!

As of December 31, 2021, the New Year and New Friends Story Event is under way.

Volkner and Sabrina play a big part in this event, and they’re appearing in the Sync Pair Scout as seasonal Sync Pairs wearing fancy outfits. Enjoy this new story for the new year on Pasio!

Volkner (New Year’s 2022) & Electivire

Volkner (New Year’s 2022) & Electivire are an Electric-type strike sync pair.

Their Passive Skill grants them the Supereffective ↑ Next effect when attacking an opponent with a supereffective Move, making them capable of dishing out major damage to opponents weak to Electric-type attacks. They can use the Moves Discharge and Thunder, allowing them to attack either one or all opponents. Also, after using their Sync Move for the first time only, they can turn the terrain into Electric Terrain, which is another powerful effect.

Sabrina (New Year’s 2022) & Chingling

Sabrina (New Year’s 2022) & Chingling are a Psychic-type support sync pair.

Their Trainer Move, Clear Your Mind... restores an ally’s HP by approximately 40% of its maximum HP and applies the Enduring effect. Also, after Sabrina (New Year’s 2022) uses a Trainer Move, the sync pair’s Passive Skill has a chance to increase the Special Moves ↑ Next effect of all allies by one rank.

They also have other Moves and Passive Skills that can boost all allies’ Sp. Atk, critical-hit rate, and other capabilities, making them a solid supporter of both offense and defense.

Next, we’d like to tell you about our New Year’s Rallies that started on December 31, 2021.

New Year’s Log-In Bonus

A Log-in Bonus that offers up to 7000 gems and some New Year’s Scout Tickets is under way.

Each New Year’s Scout Ticket grants you one use of the New Year’s Poké Fair Ticket Scout.

This scout gives you a chance to team up with Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs, such as Cynthia, Lance, and Steven.

You can get eight New Year’s Scout Tickets from the Log-in Bonus, so be sure to log in every day.

Daily Battle: New Year’s Challenge

An event in which you can get amazing rewards by completing daily battles is under way.

This event offers rewards such as New Year’s Scout Tickets, gems, and Battle Points.

You can get 14 New Year’s Scout Tickets from this event. That means with this event and with the New Year’s Log-In Bonus combined, you can get up to 22 Tickets for 2022, so we hope you try to collect them all.

A Special Sync Pair Scout to Celebrate the New Year

Three special Sync Pair Scouts are under way: the 5★-Select Poké Fair Scout ×25 (A), 5★-Select Poké Fair Scout ×25 (B), and 5★-Select Special Scout ×15.

Each scout can be used one time only and allows you to team up with many Sync Pairs. Also, each scout allows you to select a Sync Pair from that scout’s pool of Sync Pairs.

The 5★-Select Poké Fair Scout ×25 (A) and 5★-Select Poké Fair Scout ×25 (B) both include some Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs, so be sure to check out their lineups!

Grab Your Share of 100 Million Gems! New Year’s Gem Present!

A gem giveaway is now under way, with a chance of getting 60000 gems as first prize!

All players who log in to the game from December 31, 2021 at 11:00 p.m. to January 7, 2022 at 10:59 p.m. are eligible.

Dragon-Type Gear Event Is Coming!

A Dragon-Type Gear Event is scheduled to begin on January 5, 2022.

You can get 3★ Dragon-type Gear from this event, so we hope you look forward to it.

This event can be played in co-op only, so if you haven’t met the requirements to join yet, we recommend heading to the Main Story and making progress in the PML Arc.

Future Updates

Finally, we’d like to share some information about future updates.

New Battle Content

We are currently working on new content that will allow you to learn battle tips as you earn incredible rewards by completing battles. This content will be aimed at players who may be having a tough time completing the Champion Stadium on Hard difficulty. By completing this content, you should learn enough tricks of the trade to be able to complete the Champion Stadium on Hard. To play this content, you’ll have to complete the Champion Stadium on Normal difficulty first.

The Sync Pairs you’ll use in this content are all fixed, so you won’t have to worry about training your own, and anybody will be able to win as long as they have a grasp of the basics of battle.

There’s also a special story to go along with this content, so even if you’re already confident in your battling abilities, we hope you give it a try to get the rewards and see the story.

We’re aiming to release this content around late February, so please wait a little longer for it.

Villain Arc: Sinnoh Chapter

As we mentioned in our message at the end of last year, the Sinnoh Chapter of the Villain Arc is scheduled to begin on January 12, 2022! We hope you look forward to it.

What to Expect in the Next Message

Our next message is scheduled for late January. In it, we plan to share information about new Sync Pairs and events for February.

We’re always working hard to deliver updates and improvements that make the world of Pokémon Masters EX as fun as possible.

We prioritize Trainers’ feedback throughout the development process, so don’t hesitate to let us know what you think.
