A Message from the Pokémon Masters EX Team (Vol. 46)
Greetings, Trainers.
We’re the producers of Pokémon Masters EX, Yu Sasaki and Tetsuya Iguchi, here with a new message for you.
Today, we’ll focus on details about events beginning around the end of April and the new Sync Pairs that will debut.
Starting April 30, 2023, you’ll be able to invite Acerola as a Guest to the Trainer Lodge!
To invite Acerola, you’ll need to team up with Acerola & Palossand first.
You can team up with Acerola & Palossand by completing Chapter 17 of the Main Story’s PML arc, so be sure to team up with them if you haven’t yet.
We’ve added a feature that lets you save and load sets of selected options for the Champion Stadium’s Master Mode.
You can now easily choose your own option sets to go with your strategies, so we hope you find it useful.
Coinciding with Pokémon Masters Day, a Sync Pair Scout where you can team up with the Master Sync Pair Sygna Suit Lusamine & Necrozma is now available.
Moving forward, we plan to periodically bring you more Sync Pair Scouts featuring past Master Sync Pairs for Pokémon Masters Day and other special occasions, so be on the lookout!
The Alola Chapter of the Villain Arc will begin on April 27, 2023!
Ultra Wormholes are appearing across Pasio, and Anabel and Lusamine get caught up in dealing with them.
Faba has also been acting suspiciously. What could he be plotting?
There are only a few chapters left in the Villain Arc. The second part of the Alola Chapter will be added in mid-May.
You won’t want to miss it!
Another event will also be held in conjunction with the newly added Alola Chapter. In this event, you’ll be able to collect Legendary Spirit to raise the Main Character & Solgaleo to 6★ EX.
After raising the Main Character & Solgaleo to 6★ EX, an outfit with new colors will be unlocked for the Main Character, which you can change into from your Profile.
If you change the Main Character into this outfit, it will be worn even when they’re teamed up with Pokémon other than Solgaleo, so we hope you play the event and raise them to 6★ EX!
Also, the event’s Sync Pair Scout will feature Hau and Mina in sygna suits as Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs.
Sygna Suit Hau & Tapu Koko are an Electric-type tech sync pair that can utilize two different field effects.
Not only can they create a Fairy Zone with Fairy Wish, but they also have a Passive Skill that turns the field of play’s terrain into Electric Terrain the first time they enter a battle each battle.
Their B Electroweb Buddy Move can be activated when weather, terrain, or zone effects are active, so it's possible for them to use it just after entering a battle. On top of that, it’s an Electric-type Move, so it goes well with Electric Terrain.
Plus, it can lower the opponent’s Speed by two stat ranks, raise all allies’ Speed by two stat ranks, and the power of their Buddy Move is doubled in a Fairy Zone.
Maximum Power!, which raises their own Sp. Atk and critical-hit rate, can also reduce their Sync Move countdown by one in a Fairy Zone. In addition, when an ally activates weather, terrain, or zone effects, their Passive Skill will increase the Special Moves ↑ Next effect of all allies by one, so if you include another Sync Pair that can utilize field effects on your team, Sygna Suit Hau & Tapu Koko will be able to play an even bigger part in battle.
Sygna Suit Mina & Tapu Fini are a Fairy-type support sync pair that can utilize two different field effects.
They can make the weather rainy with Rain Dance, and one of their Passive Skills turns the field of play’s zone into Fairy Zone the first time they enter a battle each battle.
One of their Passive Skills reduces the damage allies take from special attack moves in a Fairy Zone, and another Passive Skill raises the Defense and Sp. Def of all allies when an ally activates weather, terrain, or zone effects.
Their B Protect Buddy Move can be activated when weather, terrain, or zone effects are active. It applies the Damage Guard Next effect to all allies and can restore approximately 20% of their maximum HP. When the zone is a Fairy Zone, that HP recovery is increased to approximately 30% of their maximum HP. Plus, it returns all allies’ lowered stats to normal when the weather is rainy.
They also have Pretty as a Painting!, which raises all allies’ Sp. Atk by four stat ranks, grants them the Gradual Healing effect, and applies the Critical-Hit Defense effect to the allied field of play, making Sygna Suit Mina & Tapu Fini a Sync Pair that’s skilled at supporting their team in various ways.
Pokémon Masters EX has surpassed fifty million downloads worldwide!
To celebrate, starting May 2, 2023, there will be a Log-in Bonus from which you can get 3,000 Gems and Mission Bingo offering 1,200 Gems. There will also be a Poké Fair you can use for 3,000 Paid Gems that guarantees one featured Fair-Exclusive Sync Pair, so we hope you look forward to it!
Solo Event Fashion Week! will begin on May 2, 2023.
Fashion Week is a new event taking place on Pasio. Lear is having a hard time trying to decide what style to feature during Fashion Week. Sawyer has a suggestion—what could it be?
Take on battles with Trainers that have various fashion themes, and complete Missions that will be added daily!
To coincide with the event, the Fashion Week Limited Scout will be available. This scout includes only Trainers that have the necessary themes to complete the event’s Missions.
The first ×11 scout in the Fashion Week Limited Scout is half off, and it includes presents, such as 5★ Power-Ups and Champion Spirit, so be sure to check it out.
Kanto Elite Four (Part 2), the continuation of the now ongoing Trainer Files Kanto Elite Four (Part 1), will begin on May 6, 2023.
The focus will be on Agatha and Lance, so we hope you look forward to the event.
There are various other events scheduled as well, including returns of Daily Battle The Golden Magikarp event and Solo Event Pasio Gold Rush, and the start of a Time Trial Event.
New battle content is currently under development.
We hope to share more information about it in our next message, but we can tell you now that it will not be like the Legendary Gauntlet, in which you use your entire roster to win as many battles as possible. Instead, you’ll aim to get your highest score within a fixed number of battles.
A certain type will be chosen each time this content occurs, and the key to boosting your score will be to include as many Sync Pairs of the designated type as you can on your teams.
Additionally, some rules will be set to increase your score. The real fun will be in thinking about how to build your teams and strategizing for each battle through trial-and-error.
We’re working hard to develop this content so that a wide range of players will be able to enjoy it—while it may not be that hard to simply win a battle, the difficulty will increase dramatically as you try to get higher scores, creating a challenge even for dedicated players.
We hope you look forward to this new content!
Our next message is scheduled for late May. In it, we plan to share information about new Sync Pairs and events for June.
We’re always working hard to deliver updates and improvements that make the world of Pokémon Masters EX as fun as possible.
We prioritize Trainers’ feedback throughout the development process, so don’t hesitate to let us know what you think.
Until next time, thank you for playing Pokémon Masters EX.
