A Message from the Pokémon Masters EX Team (Vol. 64)

Greetings, Trainers.

We’re the producers of Pokémon Masters EX, Yu Sasaki and Tetsuya Iguchi, here with a new message for you.
Today, we’ll focus on details about events beginning around the end of July and the new Sync Pairs that will debut.

App Update for Late July

A New Guest Arrives in the Trainer Lodge

Starting July 31, 2024, you’ll be able to invite Iono as a Guest to the Trainer Lodge!
To invite Iono, you’ll need to team up with Iono & Bellibolt first.
Please note that as of July 31, 2024, Iono & Bellibolt are not being featured in a Sync Pair Scout, so we hope you look forward to when they return.

Main Story Adjustments

We’ve made adjustments to improve the usability of the Main Story’s PML Arc by revising its number of battles, as well as its overall rewards.
As a result, you’ll now be able to obtain around 15,000 more Gems and get loads of items for training as rewards by completing the PML Arc.
We made these adjustments to ensure that Trainers who are just starting their adventures can enjoy the game smoothly in its current environment.
We hope you’ll take this chance to complete the PML Arc if you haven’t yet.
Players who have already completed the PML Arc will directly receive the additional Gems and items for training after updating the app.
Please note that these rewards will not be sent to your Present Box.

72 Hours Only! Champion Stadium Hard Level Celebration Scout!

A Sync Pair Scout will become available for 72 hours only once you complete the Champion Stadium on Normal and unlock Hard Lv. 1 difficulty. This Sync Pair Scout includes Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs that are available up to June 15, 2024.
By using this Sync Pair Scout ×11, you can receive lots of useful presents for training up to 10 times, including enough training material sets to raise as many as 15 Sync Pairs up to level 140, as well as 50,000 Co-op Sync Orb, 5★ Power-Ups ×20, and more.
If you’ve already unlocked Hard Lv. 1, the scout will become available for 72 hours once you log in starting July 30, 2024, so please check it out!

New story content titled A Leader’s Role, a Challenger’s Struggle will be added as the final entry to the Mysterious Stones Chapter on July 31, 2024!
Lance trains with Alder and Clair in preparation for a tournament.
Once Benga arrives, he tells the three Trainers that they haven’t been through enough!
You’ll need to have collected a total of 900 Mysterious Stones to unlock this story’s area.
We hope you look forward to it!
Note: You can get Mysterious Stones from the Daily Region Rotation and other places, and you also have a rare chance to receive them when completing some battles in the Training Area.

Story Event Ultra Beast Meet-and-Greet Is Coming

Story Event Ultra Beast Meet-and-Greet will begin on July 30, 2024!
Elio and Selene plan a meet-and-greet to have more people get along with Ultra Beasts.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t go well, but as Elio starts thinking, he remembers something…
This event will have a new format.
By collecting Event Points as you complete battles, you can obtain various rewards, giving this event a simple set of rules that makes it easy to play through, so we hope you’ll aim for the top reward.

Elio (Alt.) & Stakataka

Elio (Alt.) & Stakataka are a Rock-type Support Sync Pair. Their EX Role is Sprint.
One of their Passive Skills raises their Defense and Sp. Def by six stat ranks the first time they use a Trainer move each battle, making them an extremely durable Sync Pair.
In addition, they can create Alola Circle (Defensive) by using a Trainer move and create a Rock Zone by using their Buddy Move. On top of that, another Passive Skill of theirs can raise all allies’ Attack and Sp. Atk by one stat rank when Elio (Alt.) & Stakataka activate a field effect.
Their Ultra Endurance! Trainer move restores all allies’ HP by approximately 20% of their maximum HP and applies the Gradual Healing effect to all allies, making them a Sync Pair that also excels at healing.

Selene (Alt.) & Nihilego

Selene (Alt.) & Nihilego are a Rock-type Strike Sync Pair. Their EX Role is Tech.
One of their Passive Skills can lower all opponents’ Sp. Def by two stat ranks and leave them poisoned when they use their Acid Move.
Also, their Nihil Meteor Beam Buddy Move gets more powerful the more the target’s Sp. Def is lowered, and it can lower the target’s Sp. Def by one stat rank when the opponent is poisoned or badly poisoned (combined with their Passive Skill, Sp. Def is actually lowered by two stat ranks).
Note that their Buddy Move makes them get ready to attack. Using this move again will cause them to leave this posture and attack all opponents, but when a circle applies to the allied field of play, the preparation period will be skipped and they’ll attack right away.
They can use their Trainer move to create Alola Circle (Special), so make good use of it and unleash powerful attacks!

Other Events

For early to mid-August, we’re planning a Legendary Gauntlet, an Ultimate Battle addition, and the return of the Sinnoh Chapter Villain Event.

Future Updates

Pokémon Masters EX is about to reach its fifth year since launch!
Since the four-year anniversary, we’ve revamped the Profile feature, introduced a new concept in the Photo Creator, and added new battle content as updates so that you can keep enjoying Pokémon Masters EX in a wide variety of ways.
The Mysterious Stones Chapter that began on October 31, 2023 will soon reach its conclusion, and our anniversary will bring a new adventure.

It’s thanks to all of you that we’re able to welcome our five-year anniversary.
We’re incredibly grateful for your support.
We’ll continue to do our best to ensure that all Trainers can keep enjoying Pokémon Masters EX through the five-year anniversary and beyond, so we appreciate your continued support.

What to Expect in the Next Message

Our next message is scheduled for late August. In it, we plan to share information about new Sync Pairs and events for September.

We’re always working hard to deliver updates and improvements that make the world of Pokémon Masters EX as fun as possible.

We prioritize Trainers’ feedback throughout the development process, so don’t hesitate to let us know what you think.
Until next time, thank you for playing Pokémon Masters EX.
