A Message from the Pokémon Masters EX Team (Vol. 79)
Greetings, Trainers.
I’m Tetsuya Iguchi, producer of Pokémon Masters EX, here with a new message for you.
Today, we’ll focus on details about events beginning around the end of August and the new Sync Pairs that will debut.
Pokémon Masters EX will soon reach its sixth year since launch!
The entire development team is thrilled to be celebrating this milestone.
We would like to sincerely thank all Trainers for your support up to this point.
We’ll keep working hard so that you can continue to enjoy your adventures on Pasio.
With that said, let’s get into news about the six-year anniversary!
The EX Master Fair will debut as a new Sync Pair Scout.
The EX Master Fair is a Sync Pair Scout whose main feature is that, along with the featured EX Master Fair–Exclusive Sync Pair, almost every Fair-Exclusive Sync Pair can also appear.
(Some of those Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs will also be featured, making them even easier to team up with.)
Unlike previous Master Fairs, scouting in the EX Master Fair allows you to team up with a wider variety of Sync Pairs, so you can reinforce your team’s power to a certain extent.
The main goal of these changes is to make the game more accessible for everyone. This includes returning players, newcomers, and long-time players, while also considering the growing number of Sync Pairs.
Please note that the EX Master Fair is a Sync Pair Scout where the offering rate is 1% for the featured EX Master Sync Pair, 2% for 5★ Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs, and 12% for 5★ Sync Pairs (including the EX Master Sync Pair and Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs). You can accumulate up to 400 Scout Points.
Similar to the Master Fair, there will also be EX Master Fair Sync Pair Scouts that can only be used with Paid Gems. The presents will vary for each one, so be sure to check out the details.
Also, the EX Master Fair–Exclusive Sync Pairs that appear in these Sync Pair Scouts will have a Master Passive Skill that’s different from those of Master Fair-exclusive Sync Pairs up to now, so be sure to give them a look.
Three Sync Pairs—Red (Anniversary 2025) & Charizard, Irida (Anniversary 2025) & Typhlosion, and Gloria (Anniversary 2025) & Cinderace—will debut for the six-year anniversary!
Each Sync Pair’s Pokémon will Sync Terastallize when they enter a battle for the first time: Red (Anniversary 2025) & Charizard into Dragon type, Irida (Anniversary 2025) & Typhlosion into Poison type, and Gloria (Anniversary 2025) & Cinderace into Rock type.
We’ll share more details on their capabilities in a video scheduled to be released on August 26, 2025, so be sure to check it out.
They’re three incredible Sync Pairs befitting of the six-year anniversary, so we hope you look forward to them!
In addition to the regular Sync Pair Scouts that will individually feature Red (Anniversary 2025) & Charizard, Irida (Anniversary 2025) & Typhlosion, and Gloria (Anniversary 2025) & Cinderace, there will also be a special Sync Pair Scout that features all three of them at once in honor of the six-year anniversary! You can get one 5★ Move Candy as a present when you use this Sync Pair Scout, so we hope you look forward to it!
Please note that this Sync Pair Scout can only be used once. Its offering rate is 1% for EX Master Sync Pairs and 2% for 5★ Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs.
Six-Year Anniversary Event Terastal Festival will begin on August 27, 2025!
Lear organizes a festival to promote Sync Terastallization, which is the culmination of the hard work of people and Pokémon, to the whole world!
We hope you’ll enjoy all the interactions of various Sync Pairs!
In this six-year anniversary commemorative event, when you collect 30,000 Event Points, you’ll receive a Master Fair Guaranteed Ticket!
The Master Fair Guaranteed Ticket Scout can be used with a Master Fair Guaranteed Ticket, and guarantees one Master Sync Pair: Lillie (Anniversary 2021) & Lunala, N (Anniversary 2021) & Reshiram, or Steven (Anniversary 2021) & Rayquaza.
There are lots of other amazing rewards in the lineup too, such as a Ticket for the Six-Year Anniversary Ticket Scout, which includes Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs, Seasonal Sync Pairs, Costume Sync Pairs, and Variety Sync Pairs, as well as a photo frame of Charizard Sync Terastallized into Dragon type.
Plus, by completing the event’s Prologue, you can team up with three Sync Pairs: Juliana & Sprigatito, Florian & Fuecoco, and Nemona & Quaxly!
These Sync Pairs will join you already at level 140, and will give you an Event Point bonus, so even new players will be able to take on the event with confidence.
On top of that, as you progress through the event, you can obtain upgrade items for Juliana & Sprigatito and the others such as 5★ Custom Move Candies and exclusive Roll Cakes!
Paid-Gem 5★-Select Master Fair Tiered Scout will begin on August 27, 2025!
This Sync Pair Scout includes the following Master Sync Pairs: Sygna Suit Red (Thunderbolt) & Pikachu, Silver (Champion) & Tyranitar, Sygna Suit Lusamine & Necrozma, Marnie (Champion) & Moltres, Adaman & Leafeon, and Geeta & Glimmora. After scouting at Tier 5, you can select one of them to team up with!
You can also get awesome presents like a Fair-Guaranteed Scout Ticket and 5★ Move Candy, so be sure to check it out.
Special Event Trainer Tales Championship will begin on August 29, 2025!
Each day, one of the top 10 most popular Story Events from the past will return.
Plus, the ongoing Story Event From Kitakami—Continued featuring Kieran and Carmine, and Story Event Five Friends’ Treasure Hunt, which features Juliana and Florian’s first arrival on Pasio, are also scheduled, so we hope you enjoy them!
In addition to the above, there will be co-op battles where you can take on Red, Irida, and Gloria in their anniversary outfits, as well as a High Score Event and Ranked Damage Event to commemorate the six-year anniversary.
Plus, we have a ton of other content coming your way! A special Six-Year Anniversary Bundle of Gems will go on sale, two incredible Log-in Bonuses are coming, and 17 Sync Pairs, including 3★ Brock & Onix and 3★ Misty & Starmie, will gain the ability to be raised to 6★ EX!
Starting August 31, 2025, you’ll be able to invite Carmine to the Trainer Lodge as a Guest!
To invite Carmine, you’ll need to team up with Carmine & Sinistcha via the ongoing Carmine Poké Fair first.
The Carmine Poké Fair will be available until September 5, 2025, so give it a try if you want to team up with them!
Starting August 27, 2025, two 5★ Sync Pairs and four 4★ Sync Pairs will be added to the BP Item Exchange!
To celebrate the six-year anniversary, one BP Sync Pair Super Voucher, which you can exchange for a 5★ Sync Pair, and one BP Sync Pair Voucher, which you can exchange for a 4★ Sync Pair, will be sent to your Present Box, so be sure to grab them!
We’re planning a major update for September onward to Pokémon Masters Day, which takes place on the 25th of each month.
The Sync Pair Scout will be revamped to include some exclusive Sync Pairs, so we hope you’ll look forward to it.
Please note that the addition of 6★ EX to existing Sync Pairs that came with every Pokémon Masters Day will no longer occur starting with the next Pokémon Masters Day.
We have several updates planned to celebrate the six-year milestone so that Pokémon Masters EX can continue to be enjoyable for everyone.
One particularly major update we are considering is content that will allow you to take on Gym Leaders from each region along with members of your Trainer Gym, and then compete against other Trainer Gyms based on your battle results.
This content, like high score events and Ranked Damage Events, would require a greater level of commitment to participate in, but we’re working on it so that even casual players could join without feeling too intimidated, so stay tuned for updates.
In addition, as a longer-term plan, we are considering making improvements to Pokémon Masters EX as a whole so that new players, players returning after a while, and current players can enjoy a smoother experience.
We hope to provide more details in future messages, so we hope you’ll look forward to them!
Our next message is scheduled for late September. In it, we plan to share information about new Sync Pairs and events for October.
We’re always working hard to deliver updates and improvements that make the world of Pokémon Masters EX as fun as possible.
We prioritize Trainers’ feedback throughout the development process, so don’t hesitate to let us know what you think.
Until next time, thank you for playing Pokémon Masters EX.
