A Message from the Pokémon Masters EX Team (Vol. 83)

Greetings, Trainers.

I’m Tetsuya Iguchi, producer of Pokémon Masters EX, here with a new message for you.
The new year is almost here.
Today, we’ll focus on details about events beginning around the end of the year and the new Sync Pairs that will debut.

Story Event Pecharunt Strikes Back Is Coming

Story Event Pecharunt Strikes Back begins on December 26, 2025!

Sawyer organizes the polar plunge, where participants swim in the icy ocean and wish peace and health to the people and Pokémon of Pasio!
However, the participants were so cold that they couldn't even swim.
Then, some kind of gift arrives for Sawyer and the others…

The mischievous Pecharunt becomes Carmine’s partner, and they appear in the EX Master Fair!
We hope you enjoy seeing just how Carmine and Pecharunt become a Sync Pair in the story!

Sygna Suit Carmine & Pecharunt

Sygna Suit Carmine & Pecharunt are a Poison-type Strike Sync Pair. Their EX Role is Sprint!
Their Corrosive Malignant Chain Buddy Move can be activated when they use any move once. It only has one MP, but it’s an extremely powerful move that attacks all opponents while leaving them badly poisoned and confused.
One of their Passive Skills increases their Sync Move ↑ Next effect by two ranks when their attack move is successful against a badly poisoned opponent, and lowers the target’s Sp. Def by two stat ranks when their attack move is successful against a confused opponent, so you can activate both effects by using their Buddy Move.
Plus, one MP of their Buddy Move will be restored after a Sync Pair on their team uses a Sync Move, so they can unleash a powerful attack after raising their Sync Buff.
Also, they can use their Move Gauge Boost Trainer Move, but after a Sync Pair on their team uses their Sync Move, another one of Sygna Suit Carmine & Pecharunt’s Passive Skills reduces Move Gauge Boost’s MP by one and grants all of the following effects: applies Paldea Circle (Special), increases their own Special Moves ↑ Next effect by three ranks, and charges their own Move Gauge by six.

Other Events and Updates

The Mix Scout that currently features Barry & Infernape will feature a different Sync Pair starting December 31, 2025.
The next featured Sync Pair will be the newly debuting Elio & Decidueye, so we hope you’ll check them out.

Thanks to the support of all you Trainers out there, Pokémon Masters EX reached its six-year anniversary this year.
We’ve been able to deliver new experiences through features such as Trainer Gyms, Pasio Towers, and Academy Events.

We’ll continue to do our best not only to develop new features but also to improve existing content to provide satisfying gameplay for everyone.
