A Message from the Pokémon Masters EX Team (Vol. 86)

Greetings, Trainers.

I’m Tetsuya Iguchi, producer of Pokémon Masters EX, here with a new message for you.
In this message, we’ll share details about events that begin today, as well as the Sync Pairs that will debut.

The 6.5-Year Mark Is Almost Here!

Pokémon Masters EX will soon reach its six-and-a-half-year mark since launch!
Not only that, but Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green celebrate their 30th anniversary on February 27, 2026!

To tie it all together for our six-and-a-half-year celebration, we’re celebrating Pokémon Masters EX’s first ever “double anniversary,” and we’re planning a plethora of even more extravagant events and Rallies than usual, starting with a run-up, continuing to the main celebration, and concluding with an after-party.
We’d like to take this opportunity to celebrate with you all!

Now, let’s get into news about the Run-Up to 6.5 Years Celebration starting today.

Arceus Arc Chapter 8 Added!

Chapter 8 of the Arceus Arc will be added on February 16, 2026!

In this chapter, Kanto Gym Leaders Misty and Brock appear in their Arc Suits—a perfect fit for the 30th anniversary of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green!
Blue proposes holding a tournament just for Gym Leaders, many of whom were inspired by his battle in Chapter 7.
We hope you’ll enjoy watching Misty and Brock’s journey as they enter the tournament!

To coincide with this addition to the Main Story, the Arceus Arc Celebration Special Battle Event will also begin, so we hope you enjoy it!

Arc Suit Misty & Starmie

Arc Suit Misty & Starmie are a Water-type Multi Sync Pair. Their EX Role is Strike.
Their Almighty Bubble Beam Buddy Move attacks one opponent and lowers its Sp. Def and Speed by two stat ranks. Their Almighty Hydro Pump Buddy Move is an extremely powerful attack that has one MP and hits all opponents.
Also, one of their Passive Skills applies Kanto Circle (Special) the first time they enter a battle. When they apply Kanto Circle (Special), another Passive Skill reduces their Sync Move countdown by one and increases their Special Moves ↑ Next effect by one rank. Plus, after a Sync Pair on their team uses a Sync Move, another Passive Skill reduces the MP for Arc Suit Misty & Starmie’s Kanto Analysis Move by one, applies Kanto Circle (Special), increases all allies’ Special Moves ↑ Next effect by two ranks, and restores one MP of their own Buddy Move, so go on the attack with Almighty Hydro Pump!

Arc Suit Brock & Onix

Arc Suit Brock & Onix are a Rock-type Multi Sync Pair. Their EX Role is Strike.
Their Almighty Rock Slide Buddy Move attacks all opponents, lowers their Defense by two stat ranks, and raises Arc Suit Brock & Onix’s Defense by two stat ranks.
Their Almighty Stone Edge Buddy Move has one MP, and the more their Defense is raised, the more powerful it gets, the more it reduces their Sync Move countdown (up to three maximum), and the more it increases their Physical Moves ↑ Next effect (up to three ranks maximum), so buff up their Defense before using it!
Their Passive Skills create a Rock Zone the first time they use their Sync Move, apply the Enduring effect to themselves if their HP is full when entering a battle, and, when their HP drops to half or below, reduces the MP for their Potion Move by one and restores their HP by approximately 50% of their maximum HP. This gives the Sync Pair rock-solid durability.

New Content: Pasio Gym Battles Debut!

On February 19, 2026, the long-awaited, previously announced Pasio Gym Battles will debut, which will allow you and your fellow Trainer Gym members to take on Gym Leaders from each region and then compete against other Trainer Gyms based on your battle results!

In order to take on Gym Leader battles in a Pasio Gym Battle, you’ll need to obtain a Gym Battle Challenge Ticket, which you can get during the event. There’s a limited number of Gym Battle Challenge Tickets that you can obtain individually, so work with your fellow Trainer Gym members and take on those Gym Leaders! A Gym Battle Challenge Ticket will be distributed at the start of the event, and three more will be sent daily throughout the event. Gym Battle Challenge Tickets will be consumed once the results of a battle you’ve attempted have been decided. They will not be consumed if you quit or retry a battle.

In a Pasio Gym Battle, you have to defeat eight Gym Leaders to advance to the next circuit, after which you can challenge them again.
As you proceed through the circuits, the Gym Leaders gradually get stronger by gaining raised stats and having Passive Skills added.
Also, once you have completed the first three circuits, you’ll enter Extra Battles from the fourth circuit onward.
In Extra Battles, special rules will be added to make for even more challenging battles.

There is a time limit while battling Gym Leaders. If you are unable to defeat one within the time limit, other Gym members, including yourself, can continue the challenge (a new Gym Battle Challenge Ticket will be required).
In this case, the opponent’s HP and some status conditions will be carried over. If a Gym member other than yourself continues the challenge, a support effect will be activated, increasing the power of Pokémon moves, Sync Moves, and Max Moves by 50% for subsequent battles.
Even if you haven’t trained your Sync Pairs enough to defeat the Gym Leaders, you can still attempt the battles to support your fellow Gym members, so we hope you’ll try working as a team as you enjoy the event.

We’ve set the difficulty for these first three circuits before Extra Battles so that beginners and intermediate players can enjoy them. By completing the three circuits, you can also earn rewards, such as 5★ Gym Scout Tickets and Gym battle–exclusive lucky cookies, so we hope you join the challenge.

After Extra Battles, ranking elements for each Trainer Gym will be unlocked and the difficulty will increase, so we encourage every Trainer Gym member who is confident in their skills to try and aim for the top.

For full details on Pasio Gym Battles, please see this notice.

If you haven’t joined a Trainer Gym yet, we hope you’ll take this opportunity to join one and take on Pasio Gym Battles!
Please note that to prevent cheating, you will not be able to leave your Gym during these events.

Pasio Gym Battles are set to be held periodically, so we hope you look forward to them!

Double Rallies for the Double Anniversary!

As a special Rally for the double anniversary, the log-in bonus that distributes Tickets for the daily no-cost 10-Pair Sync Pair Scout held for anniversaries each year is getting even better!
This Rally normally offers up to 100 no-cost scouts. In honor of the double anniversary, this time we’re offering twice as many—up to 200 no-cost scouts!
Plus, the 10-pair Tickets on the 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th days are fair-guaranteed, so be sure to log in and grab them!

In addition, during the double anniversary, daily mission and Training Area rewards will be doubled!
