A Message from the Pokémon Masters EX Team (Vol. 91)
Greetings, Trainers.
I’m Tetsuya Iguchi, producer of Pokémon Masters EX, here with a new message for you.
Today, we’ll focus on details about events beginning around the end of June and the new Sync Pairs that will debut.
Story Event Sea’s Legend and Raging Souls will begin on June 29, 2026!
After a storm, Akari encounters an injured Manaphy on the beach.
Akari decides to take care of the Manaphy until its wounds heal.
Meanwhile, Arezu has encountered a Basculegion while investigating but is struggling to make a connection with it.
Akari (Summer 2026) & Manaphy and Arezu (Summer 2026) & Basculegion appear in the event’s story and will also arrive as Seasonal Sync Pairs.
We hope you look forward to it!

Solo Event Brave Heroes of the Sea begins on July 2, 2026!
You can win all three battles that will be added during the event period and complete Missions to unlock a story where you’ll receive a special Title.
You can obtain a total of 900 Gems from the Missions, as well as 90 5★ Sinnoh Scout Tickets, so we hope you’ll take them on.
A special Log-in Bonus will start on July 16, 2026. You can get 490 Gems, two Support Move Candy Coins, and two Support Roll Cake Coins from it!
Please be sure to log in and collect Manaphy’s present.
2026 marks 30 years since the release of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green. In honor of the occasion, Pokémon Masters EX is bringing you a special Rally that will take place throughout the year.
Note: This rally is refreshed at 06:00 UTC on the 1st of every month. Please note that this date and time are in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), so the exact date and time for your region may vary.
On the 1st of each month from April to December, there will be Missions where you can team up with a Sync Pair, as well as obtain the items needed to raise them to 6★ EX and unlock their EX Role!
The Missions starting on June 30, 2026 let you team up with Lysandre & Yveltal, so take advantage of this opportunity if you haven’t teamed up with or upgraded them yet!
There will also be a Log-in Bonus where you can get 1,000 Gems, so be sure to grab them all!
Please note that the Missions and Log-in Bonuses that begin each month will be available for one month only.
Plus, past stories related to the Sync Pairs you can team up with will return from April to December on the 1st of each month.
By completing these stories, you’ll be able to get a Scrapbook Photo of the artwork created for the Six-Year Anniversary special concept video, so be sure to check it out.
Returning this time is Neo Champions: Leaders of a New Era.
Please note that unlike the Missions and Log-in Bonuses, these events will be available until the end of 2026.
The Presents! Limit 1! 5★-Select Seasonal Scout ×11 will begin on July 6, 2026.
Also, to go along with this Sync Pair Scout, we plan to add EX Roles to all past Seasonal Sync Pairs.
On July 11, 2026, an event where you can receive a 5★ Sprint Move Candy by completing all of the Missions will begin.
You can complete them by clearing Daily Battle 10 times during the event, so be sure to take it on.
Starting June 30, 2026, you’ll be able to invite Hau to the Trainer Lodge as a Guest!
To invite Hau, you’ll need to team up with Hau & Raichu.
You can team up with Hau & Raichu by completing Chapter 11 of the Main Story’s PML Arc, so be sure to team up with them if you haven’t yet!
We’d like to share our plans for long-term updates designed to ensure that more players can enjoy the game for years to come.
Around late January 2027, we’re planning a major update primarily aimed at making the game easier to play for new players, which includes revisions to existing content and the introduction of new content.
Ahead of these future updates, we’re going to revamp the Battle Point system in late September 2026, and discontinue the Main Story (Hard) and Battle Villa features at the same time.
The revamp to the Battle Point system will add more opportunities for you to team up with new Sync Pairs without using the Scout. We’re designing this feature to make the game more enjoyable for new players, as well as for those who enjoy collecting Sync Pairs.
Also, while many initially enjoyed the Main Story (Hard) and Battle Villa features, we recognize that players now prefer newer content. For this reason, we have decided to discontinue them as part of our ongoing content revisions.
We plan to continue working on various updates in the future as well.
We plan to revamp the Battle Point system around late September.
Up until now, you could collect the same rewards multiple times, starting over from the beginning once you reached the end. In this revamp, we will be changing it to a monthly system.
In other words, the Battle Points you earn will reset each month.
In addition, the main reward of each month will be a new Sync Pair you can team up with.
We’re also designing this so that you can still obtain BP Sync Pair Vouchers and Move Candy Coins, which you’ve been able to get as Battle Point rewards up to now.
Also, if you happen to miss the featured Sync Pair in the month they appear, we plan to have them return in the future.
Of course, this content will be available to all players like it has been up to now, so we hope you’ll look forward to it.
Please note that the Battle Points you’ve obtained before the revamp will be reset in accordance with this update.
We’re planning to announce more details about a month before the revamp.
Our next message is scheduled for late July. In it, we plan to share information about new Sync Pairs and events for August.
We’re always working hard to deliver updates and improvements that make the world of Pokémon Masters EX as fun as possible.
We prioritize Trainers’ feedback throughout the development process, so don’t hesitate to let us know what you think.
Until next time, thank you for playing Pokémon Masters EX.
