A Message from the Pokémon Masters EX Team (Vol. 92)

Greetings, Trainers.
I’m Tetsuya Iguchi, producer of Pokémon Masters EX, here with a new message for you.
Today, we’ll focus on details about events beginning around the end of July and the new Sync Pairs that will debut.

Academy Event Pasio Festival of Masks Is Coming

Academy Event Pasio Festival of Masks begins on July 30, 2026!

Juliana is feeling stressed by the hot weather and can’t concentrate on her academy assignments, so Carmine and the others decide to throw a festival on Pasio to help.
It looks like Carmine has one other goal in mind…

The Academy Sync Pair this time is Juliana & Chimecho!
Plus, Carmine (Alt.) & Mightyena and Florian (Alt.) & Yanmega appear in the event’s story and will also arrive as EX Fair–Exclusive Sync Pairs.

Carmine (Alt.) & Mightyena

Carmine (Alt.) & Mightyena are a Dark-type Support Sync Pair. Their EX Role is Field.
They can apply Paldea Circle (Physical) and a Dark Zone, so try to make good use of those effects as you battle.

Let’s take a look at the effects of their main Passive Skills.

  • Grants all of the following effects when they enter a battle:
    ・Applies Paldea Circle (Physical) to the allied field of play
    ・Applies the Endure and Restore effect to the user
  • Grants all of the following effects when they apply Paldea Circle (Physical) to the allied field of play:
    ・Reduces the user’s Sync Move countdown by one
    ・Increases the Physical Moves ↑ Next effect of all allied Sync Pairs by one rank

◆ About their Sharp Fangs Crunch Buddy Move
MP: 2, Power: 150 (at move level 1), Target: One opponent
Activation Condition: When a circle is applied to the allied field of play
Deactivation Condition: When there are no longer any circles applied to the allied field of play

  • This attack never misses
  • Lowers the target’s Defense by three stat ranks
  • Applies the Physical Move Break effect to the target the first time they successfully attack with this move
  • Turns the zone into a Dark Zone the first time they successfully attack with this move
  • Increases the Physical Moves ↑ Next effect of all allied Sync Pairs by two ranks

◆ About their Paldea Passion Trainer Move
MP: 2, Target: n/a

  • Increases the Physical Moves ↑ Next effect of all allied Sync Pairs by one rank
  • Applies Paldea Circle (Physical) to the allied field of play

Florian (Alt.) & Yanmega

Florian (Alt.) & Yanmega are a Bug-type Strike Sync Pair. Their EX Role is Sprint.
This Sync Pair has a Passive Skill that lets them Sync Terastallize into Bug type the first time they enter a battle.

Let’s take a look at the effects of their other main Passive Skills.

  • Removes all of their Speed increases after using their Sync Move
    Increases their Physical Moves ↑ Next effect by the same amount
  • Grants all of the following effects the first time their Trainer uses a move:
    ・Raises their Attack by six stat ranks
    ・Raises their Critical-hit rate by three stat ranks

◆ About their Zipping Lunge Buddy Move (while Sync Terastallized)
MP: n/a, Power: 360 (at move level 1), Target: All opponents
Activation Condition: When a Sync Pair on their team uses a Sync Move once
Deactivation Condition: When this move is used

  • Lowers the opponent’s Attack by three stat ranks
  • The power of this move is not lowered even if there are multiple targets
  • Applies the Free Move Next effect to themselves

◆ About their EX Speed Trainer Move
MP: 1, Target: Self

  • Raises their Speed by six stat ranks

◆ About their Festival Starts Now! Trainer Move
MP: 1, Target: Self

  • Reduces their Sync Move countdown by three
  • Applies the Supereffective ↑ Next effect to themselves
  • Applies the Free Move Next effect to themselves

Pasio Gym Battle Johto Gym Leaders Assembled Is Coming

As we announced the other day, Pasio Gym Battle Johto Gym Leaders Assembled is scheduled to begin on August 2, 2026.
To go along with this Pasio Gym Battle, the Gym Battle Celebration Three Fair-Exclusives Guaranteed Tiered Scout will also begin.
At Tier 1, you can get a Ticket to team up with one featured Sync Pair, and at Tiers 3 and 5, you can select one 5★ Sync Pair from a lineup that includes the featured Sync Pairs, so we hope you’ll take a look.

About the Pokémon 30-Year Celebration Updated on the 1st of Every Month!

2026 marks 30 years since the release of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green. In honor of the occasion, Pokémon Masters EX is bringing you a special Rally that will take place throughout the year.
Note: This rally is refreshed at 06:00 UTC on the 1st of every month. Please note that this date and time are in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), so the exact date and time for your region may vary.

Pokémon 30-Year Celebration Special Missions and Log-in Bonus

On the 1st of each month from April to December, there will be Missions where you can team up with a Sync Pair, as well as obtain the items needed to raise them to 6★ EX and unlock their EX Role!
The missions starting on July 31, 2026 let you team up with N (Summer 2022) & Zoroark, so take advantage of this opportunity if you haven’t teamed up with or upgraded them yet!

There will also be a Log-in Bonus where you can get 1,000 Gems, so be sure to grab them all!
Please note that the Missions and Log-in Bonuses that begin each month will be available for one month only.

Pokémon 30-Year Celebration Pokémon Masters Memories

Plus, past stories related to the Sync Pairs you can team up with will return from April to December on the 1st of each month.
By completing these stories, you’ll be able to get a Scrapbook Photo of the artwork created for the Six-Year Anniversary special concept video, so be sure to check it out.

Returning this time is Story Event The Ideal Formula.
Please note that unlike the Missions and Log-in Bonuses, these events will be available until the end of 2026.

Selene & Primarina will be added to and featured in the Mix Scout starting July 31, 2026!
They’re a Fairy-type Field Sync Pair whose EX Role is Tech, so be sure to check them out.

Daily Battle Roll Cake Challenge Is Coming

On August 6, 2026, an event where you can get a Tech Roll Cake by completing all of the Missions will begin.
Be sure to use it to upgrade one of your Sync Pairs.

The Legendary Gauntlet Is Coming

A Legendary Gauntlet where you’ll face off against Azelf, Regirock, and Moltres starts on August 9, 2026.
A one-time-only Sync Pair Scout that lets you select one Fair-Exclusive Sync Pair will start to accompany the Legendary Gauntlet, so we hope you’ll check it out.

A New Guest Arrives in the Trainer Lodge

Starting July 31, 2026, you’ll be able to invite Whitney as a Guest to the Trainer Lodge!
To invite Whitney, you’ll need to team up with Whitney & Miltank first.
You can team up with Whitney & Miltank via various Sync Pair Scouts.
