We’d like to share our plans for long-term updates designed to ensure that more players can enjoy the game for years to come.
As we mentioned in our 91st message, we’re planning a major update focusing on improving the game’s playability mainly for new players. This update will include the following:
This time, we’d like to share our outline of the update scheduled for late January 2027.
Instead of the PML Arc, this new story will serve as the entry story for new players.
Upon playing Pokémon Masters EX for the first time, you can choose a familiar region from the games in the Pokémon series you’ve played to begin your adventure with a story focused on that region.
By proceeding in the story, you can team up with Sync Pairs from each region, totaling over 25 existing Sync Pairs.
This content allows all players, including veteran players, to play all regions and earn rewards.
We hope you enjoy your adventures on Pasio, along with your memories of playing the Pokémon series!
One more new feature is the Dex for Pokémon Trainers.
You can view a list of your Sync Pairs, and by reviewing past stories and voice lines from the details screen, you’ll be able to enjoy your favorite Trainers anytime, as often as you like!
More details are coming in a future announcement.
The whole team is focused on developing this new story and Dex content.
It will still be a little while before its launch, and we’ll keep working on it so that everyone will be able to enjoy it.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who has enjoyed the game since its release.
As part of a comprehensive review of the balance of in-game content, coinciding with the introduction of new content, we have decided to discontinue Co-op battles.
As a result, we will be adjusting some Sync Pairs’ Passive Skills that were related to multiplayer features, such as unity attacks.
As the game’s service has gone on for several years, more and more item categories have been introduced, leading to confusion about how to upgrade Sync Pairs for new players coming to Pasio.
In order to make upgrading simpler and more intuitive, we plan to consolidate items that serve similar purposes.
We’ll share more details at a later date.
To coincide with revisions to existing content and the introduction of new content, we’re revamping the design and button layout across various screens.
We’re aiming for this to be a refined design that easily conveys what you should be playing on Pasio at the moment, and provides smoother access to events and training screens.
Our next message is scheduled for late September. In it, we plan to share information about new Sync Pairs and events for October.
We’re always working hard to deliver updates and improvements that make the world of Pokémon Masters EX as fun as possible.
We prioritize Trainers’ feedback throughout the development process, so don’t hesitate to let us know what you think.
Until next time, thank you for playing Pokémon Masters EX.
