A Message from the Pokémon Masters EX Team (Vol. 95)

Greetings, Trainers.
I’m Tetsuya Iguchi, general producer of Pokémon Masters EX, here with a new message for you.
Today, we’ll focus on details about events beginning around the end of September and the new Sync Pairs that will debut.

Four Treasures of Ruin are coming to Pasio!

Story Event: Treasures of Ruin—Ghetsis begins on September 29, 2026.

This event consists of four parts that will be released weekly.
A story focusing on Chien-Pao begins on September 29, 2026, then it’s Chi-Yu starting on October 6, 2026, Wo-Chien starting on October 13, 2026, and Ting-Lu starting on October 20, 2026.

Also, by completing the special battles in all of these events, you’ll be able to enjoy an epilogue starting on October 20, 2026, so we hope you try to finish the story!

Next, we’d like to tell you about two EX Fair–Exclusive Sync Pairs: Sygna Suit Ghetsis & Chien-Pao, who appear in Story Event: Treasures of Ruin—Ghetsis, and Sygna Suit Lysandre (Alt.) & Chi-Yu, who appear in Story Event: Treasures of Ruin—Lysandre, which begins on October 6, 2026!

Sygna Suit Ghetsis & Chien-Pao

Sygna Suit Ghetsis & Chien-Pao are an Ice-type Strike Sync Pair. Their EX Role is Tech.
A Passive Skill of theirs lets them Sync Terastallize into Ice type the first time they enter a battle.

Let’s take a look at the effects of their other main Passive Skills.

• Reduces the MP for their X Evasion by one and grants all of the following effects after their team uses a Sync Move:
  
  • Raises their evasiveness by two stat ranks
    
  • Increases their Physical Moves Next effect by two ranks
    

◆ About their Icerend Icicle Crash Buddy Move (while Sync Terastallized)
MP: n/a, Power: 405 (at move level 1), Target: All opponents
Activation Condition: When a sync pair on their team uses a sync move once
Deactivation Condition: When this move is used

• This attack never misses
• Makes the target flinch
• The power of this move is not lowered even if there are multiple targets

◆ About their Chalcedony Tera Blast move
MP: n/a, Power: 200 (at move level 1), Target: All opponents

• Lowers the opponent’s Attack by two stat ranks
• The power of this move is not lowered even if there are multiple targets

Sygna Suit Lysandre (Alt.) & Chi-Yu

Sygna Suit Lysandre (Alt.) & Chi-Yu are a Fire-type Field Sync Pair. Their EX Role is Sprint.
A Passive Skill of theirs lets them Sync Terastallize into Fire type the first time they enter a battle.

Let’s take a look at the effects of their other main Passive Skills.

• Grants all of the following effects the first time they enter a battle each battle:
  
  • Applies the Move Gauge Acceleration effect to the allied field of play
    
  • Raises their Sp. Atk by six stat ranks
    
  • Raises their critical-hit rate by three stat ranks
    
• The more their Sync Move ↑ Next effect is increased, the greater the power of their Sync Move

◆ About their Firescourge Inferno Buddy Move (while Sync Terastallized)
MP: n/a, Power: 300 (at move level 1), Target: All opponents
Activation Condition: When a sync pair on their team uses a sync move once
Deactivation Condition: When this move is used

• This attack never misses
• Lowers one of the target’s stats (Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, Speed, accuracy, or evasiveness) by four stat ranks at random
• Leaves the target burned
• The power of this move is not lowered even if there are multiple targets
• If the remaining MP for their Sunny Day is one or more when attacking with this move, reduces those MP by one and grants all of the following effects:
  
  • Makes the weather sunny
    
  • Reduces their Sync Move countdown by one
    
  • Increases the Sync Move ↑ Next effect of all allied Sync Pairs by 10 ranks
    

◆ About their Red Coral Tera Blast move
MP: n/a, Power: 150 (at move level 1), Target: All opponents

• Lowers the target’s Attack and Sp. Atk by one stat rank
• The power of this move is not lowered even if there are multiple targets

Updates Scheduled for This Month

Daily Missions Update

On September 29, 2026, we’re updating the daily missions to make them more accessible, and to add a touch of excitement every day as you test your luck.
Some missions will now be selected at random each day, and the number of mission completions required to earn the rewards will be lower than before.
Plus, the Surprise Box you can get as a completion reward grants a random prize when opened. If you’re super lucky, you might even get any kind of Roll Cake Coin, any kind of Move Candy Coin, or a Fair-Guaranteed Scout Ticket!
Even if you don’t obtain the reward, the number of rewards you receive will not be lower than normal.
We hope you’ll try your luck every day and enjoy these missions.

Updates to Future Seasonal Events

We are planning minor adjustments for upcoming seasonal events to make it easier to obtain past Seasonal Sync Pairs.

• For each seasonal event, you will be able to obtain one Scout Ticket as a Mission reward, which can be used in the Seasonal Exclusive Guaranteed Ticket Scout.

This Scout features a lineup of Seasonal Sync Pairs that originally debuted in events for the corresponding season four or more years ago, and it guarantees that you can team up with one of them.
Please note that the acquisition method and lineup differ from the Seasonal Exclusive Gtd. Ticket that was available previously.

• We’re adjusting the format of rerun Scouts.

Previously, we’ve held two types of Scouts that featured lineups of all past Seasonal Sync Pairs that appeared in events for the same season.
Moving forward, we plan to have one Scout for Sync Pairs that debuted approximately within the past three years, and one for those that debuted four or more years ago.
For the Scout that features past Seasonal Sync Pairs that debuted within the last three years, we’re increasing the rates for each featured Sync Pair and adjusting the required number of Scout Points to 300.
For the Scout that features past Seasonal Sync Pairs that arrived four or more years ago, you’ll be able to use it for 3,000 non-paid Gems up to three times, and after using it, you’ll be able to select a featured Sync Pair.

Monthly BP Challenge Update

The Monthly BP Challenge is now available starting with this update!
This challenge allows you to collect Battle Points each month and earn various rewards based on your total, such as new Sync Pairs that will be updated monthly.
Please note that when the rewards are swapped, your Battle Points will also reset.

The Sync Pair you can team up with this time is Lyra (Special Costume) & Marill!
You can also earn Custom Move Candies and Custom ★ Power-Ups for Lyra (Special Costume) & Marill, so we hope you’ll give it a try.

In addition, you can get each kind of Move Candy Coin from the exchange, as well as Monthly BP Challenge Vouchers, which you can exchange for BP Sync Pair Super Vouchers , so be sure to check in-game for more information.

Please note this Monthly BP Challenge’s duration differs from the regular schedule.

Beginners & Returning Players Champion Challenge

The Beginners & Returning Players 6★ EX Training Mission—part of the Beginners & Returning Players Champion Challenge—will begin on September 30, 2026.

As many Trainers enjoyed our Marvelous Mega 7 Years celebration, there were also a lot of newcomers playing Pokémon Masters EX for the first time, as well as many returning Trainers.
To help everyone enjoy the game even more, we’re launching an event and Missions! By completing everything, you can get 5★ Power-Ups ×20, Champion Spirit ×50, Fair-Guaranteed Scout Ticket ×1, and Gems ×1,100!

You won’t want to miss it!

About the Pokémon 30-Year Celebration Updated on the 1st of Every Month!

2026 marks 30 years since the release of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green. In honor of the occasion, Pokémon Masters EX is bringing you a special Rally that will take place throughout the year.
Note: This rally is refreshed at 06:00 UTC on the 1st of every month. Please note that this date and time are in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), so the exact date and time for your region may vary.

Pokémon 30-Year Celebration Special Missions and Log-in Bonus

On the 1st of each month from April to December, there will be Missions where you can team up with a Sync Pair and obtain the items needed to raise them to 6★ EX and unlock their EX Role!
The Missions starting on September 30, 2026 let you team up with Sygna Suit Wally & Gardevoir, so take advantage of this opportunity if you haven’t teamed up with or upgraded them yet!

There will also be a Log-in Bonus where you can get 1,000 Gems, so be sure to grab them all!
Please note that the Missions and Log-in Bonuses that begin each month will be available for one month only.

Pokémon 30-Year Celebration: Pokémon Masters Memories

Plus, past stories related to the Sync Pairs you can team up with will return from April to December on the 1st of each month.
By completing these stories, you’ll be able to get a Scrapbook Photo of the artwork created for the Six-Year Anniversary special concept video, so be sure to check it out.

Pasio Gym Battle Sinnoh Gym Leaders Assembled Is Coming

Pasio Gym Battle Sinnoh Gym Leaders Assembled will begin on October 2, 2026!
To go along with this Pasio Gym Battle, the Gym Battle Celebration Three Fair-Exclusives Guaranteed Tiered Scout will also be available.
At Tier 1, you can get a Ticket to team up with one featured Sync Pair, and at Tiers 3 and 5, you can select one 5★ Sync Pair from a lineup that includes the featured Sync Pairs, so we hope you’ll take a look.

Other Events

A New Guest Arrives in the Trainer Lodge

Starting September 30, 2026, you’ll be able to invite Korrina as a Guest to the Trainer Lodge!
To invite Korrina, you’ll need to team up with Korrina & Lucario first.
You can team up with Korrina & Lucario by completing Chapter 6 of the Main Story’s PML Arc, so be sure to team up with them if you haven’t yet!

The Legendary Gauntlet Is Coming

A Legendary Gauntlet where you take on Tapu Bulu, Latias, and Raikou will begin on October 9, 2026.
To coincide with the Legendary Gauntlet, a one-time-only Sync Pair Scout that can be used with Paid Gems will start. It lets you select one Fair-Exclusive Sync Pair, so be sure to check it out.
