Move and Passive Skill Text Improvements

We’ve improved some of the descriptions for Moves and Passive Skills that include ambiguous expressions like “small chance” and “restores a bit.”

Note: These improvements apply to the text only. No changes were made to actual capabilities.
Note: Changes will be reflected after updating to Ver. 2.10.0 or higher.

Specific Examples of Improvements

Probabilities

Before Change:
Has a small chance of leaving the target poisoned.
After Change:
Has a chance (20%) of leaving the target poisoned.

Changes in Rank

Before Change:
Sharply raises the user’s Attack.
After Change:
Raises the user’s Attack by two stat ranks.

Max Changes in Rank

Before Change:
The lower the user’s HP is, the more this move raises the user’s Sp. Atk.
After Change:
The smaller the user’s percentage of remaining HP, the more this move raises the user’s Sp. Atk (can be raised by up to four stat ranks maximum).

HP Recovery Amounts

Before Change:
Restores a bit of the user’s HP.
After Change:
Restores the user’s HP by approximately 40% of its maximum HP.

Move Gauge Recovery Amounts

Before Change:
Charges the move gauges of all allied sync pairs by two.
After Change:
Charges the user’s move gauge by two for each allied sync pair on the field. If used in a co-op battle, charges the move gauges of all allied players by two instead.

Max Move Gauge Recovery Amounts

Before Change:
Increases the move gauge.
After Change:
Charges the move gauge by up to three.

Remaining HP

Before Change:
The more HP the user has remaining, the more it powers up moves.
After Change:
The larger the user’s percentage of remaining HP, the more it powers up the user’s moves.

The Expression “based on”

Before Change:
The user takes damage based on its maximum HP.
After Change:
The user takes damage equal to 25% of its maximum HP.

The Expression “once per battle”

Before Change:
Once per battle, when the user is inflicted by any status condition
After Change:
The first time it is inflicted by any status condition each battle
