Strategy: Training Sync Pairs

Level up your sync pairs!

Raise the level of your sync pairs to the recommended level for the battle.
To level up beyond Lv. 100, use the Unlock Level Cap menu.
To obtain the items required, head to the Cap-Unlock Area in the Training Area.

Use the sync grid effectively!

Power up your sync pairs even further via their sync grids. Simply use the Co-op Sync Orbs available in the Sync Orb Area of the Training Area.
There are various ways to upgrade your sync pairs, so choose whatever suits you.

Unleash Theme Skills!

Create teams with sync pairs that share the same themes and target your opponents’ weaknesses.
Use Theme Skills to make your sync pairs even stronger.

Master tactics!

Switching tactics changes the order your team members are targeted.
A key strategy is to have support sync pairs with higher HP, Defense, or Sp. Def targeted first, and strike sync pairs with higher Attack or Sp. Atk targeted third.

Strategy: Battle Basics

Defeat opponents in the center last!

If you defeat an Elite Four or Champion sync pair in the center position first, the Pokémon on the left and right will unleash powerful moves.
So try to defeat the sync pair in the center position last.
Tap an opponent’s Pokémon during battle to switch between targets.

Recommended Fighting Style

• Lower your opponent’s Defense and Sp. Def!
• Brace yourself for incoming physical attacks!
• Prepare yourself for your opponent’s stat increases!

• #2: Sygna Suit Cynthia (Renegade) & Giratina
• #3: Sygna Suit Korrina & Marshadow

Wikstrom & Aegislash have a Passive Skill that raises the power of their Moves the more their Defense and Sp. Def are raised, so use Sygna Suit Cynthia (Renegade) & Giratina’s Sundering 9 Passive Skill to lower their Defense and Sp. Def!

Your opponent mainly uses physical attacks, so use Allister (Fall 2022) & Gourgeist’s X Defense All to raise your Defense.

Wikstrom & Aegislash’s Passive Skill raises their stats. They will also raise their stats by using En Garde! right before their Sync Move, so return them to normal with Sygna Suit Korrina & Marshadow’s Spectral Thief!
