EX Roles

EX Role Details

An EX Role is another Role hidden within Sync Pairs.
The kinds of EX Role include Strike, Tech, Support, Sprint, and Field, and each provide unique effects when unlocked.
To unlock the EX Role for Sync Pairs that have one, go to the Upgrades menu in the Sync Pairs screen, then look for the EX Role tab.

Unlocking the EX Role

You can unlock a Sync Pair’s EX Role by using that EX Role’s corresponding Roll Cake.
In addition to receiving Roll Cakes as presents from Scouts, you can also exchange Roll Cake Coins for them.
Roll Cake Coins can be obtained from the new difficulty level added to the Daily Region Rotation, and in exchange for the daily tickets earned from daily missions.
Note: To exchange Roll Cake Coins for Roll Cakes, go to the Exchange Items menu in the Shop screen, then look for the General tab.

About the Effects of EX Roles

The following effects can be obtained by unlocking an EX Role:

• Stats boost
• When a Sync Pair is raised to 6★ EX, an additional effect will be added to their Sync Move based on their EX Role.

Important

• Some Sync Pairs that appear in the future will have an EX Role available to unlock upon their release.
• An EX Role may be added to some existing Sync Pairs in future updates.
• To unlock the EX Role, you must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
