Level up Your Sync Pairs!

Raise the level of your sync pairs to the recommended level for the battle.
To level up beyond Lv. 100, use the Unlock Level Cap menu.
To obtain the items required, head to the Cap-Unlock Area in the Training Area.

Use the Sync Grid Effectively!

Power up your sync pairs even further via their sync grids. Simply use the Co-op Sync Orbs available in the Sync Orb Area of the Training Area.
There are various ways to upgrade your sync pairs, so choose whatever suits you.

Unleash Theme Skills!

Create teams with sync pairs that share the same themes and target your opponents’ weaknesses.
Use Theme Skills to make your sync pairs even stronger.

Master Tactics!

Switching tactics changes the order your team members are targeted.
A key strategy is to have support sync pairs with higher HP, Defense, or Sp. Def targeted first, and strike sync pairs with higher Attack or Sp. Atk targeted third.

Defeat Opponents in the Center Last!

If you defeat an Elite Four or Champion sync pair in the center position first, the Pokémon on the left and right will unleash powerful moves.
So try to defeat the sync pair in the center position last.
Tap an opponent’s Pokémon during battle to switch between targets.

Recommended Fighting Style

• Lower your opponent’s Defense!
• Brace yourself for incoming physical attacks!
• Brace yourself for your opponent’s attacks that target you and your allies all at once!

Recommended Sync Pairs and Tactics

• #1: Arc Suit Steven & Metagross
• #2: Selene (Special Costume) & Scizor
• #3: Elio (Champion) & Necrozma

Your opponent uses a Passive Skill to reduce the damage they take from moves and Sync Moves while their Defense is raised, so use Elio (Champion) & Necrozma’s Solar Sunsteel Strike to lower their Defense.

Your opponent mainly uses physical attacks, so use Elio (Champion) & Necrozma’s Sunward Glory! to apply Alola Circle (Physical), and use Selene (Special Costume) & Scizor’s Team Offensive Defense 9 Passive Skill to raise your Defense.

Your opponent uses moves such as Earthquake to attack all allies at once, so use Elio (Champion) & Necrozma’s Gentle Morning Sun Passive Skill or Arc Suit Steven & Metagross’s Potion and Passive Skill to restore HP!
