Pasio Gym Battle Details

A Pasio Gym Battle is an event in which you take on eight Trainers together with members of your gym and compete against other Trainer Gyms using the score based on your results.
The battles are circuit-based, and once you complete battles against all eight Trainers, you can proceed to the next circuit.
As you complete more circuits, your opponents will get stronger and will be capable of using special Passive Skills.
Also, once you complete three circuits, you will be able to take on the highly difficult Extra Battles.
Earn the highest score you can in order to boost your spot in the rankings!
Note: Passive Skills may apply to not only your opponent in the center position but those on the left and right as well.

Extra Battles

In Extra Battles, not only do your opponents get stronger, but special rules are applied to the battles as well.
The special rules change each time you complete a circuit.
Be sure to carefully review the special rules before heading into battle.
Note: In Extra Battles, your opponents’ stats will not change from the sixth circuit onward.

Battle Carryover

In a Pasio Gym Battle, your opponents’ HP carries over to the next time a gym member takes them on.
In addition, some status conditions and stat changes will carry over.
Note: If multiple players are attempting the same battle at the same time, some status conditions and stat changes may not carry over properly.

About Cheering On Others

You can leave a message of support for your fellow gym members who will be taking over a battle.
When another gym member takes over for that battle, the effect of your cheer will be activated at the start of the battle, increasing their Move, Sync Move, and Max Move power by 50%.
Note: The effects of your cheers do not stack. For example, cheering more than once will not increase the damage multiplier.

Gym Battle Challenge Tickets

To attempt battles, you have to use Gym Battle Challenge Tickets.
Players receive nine Gym Battle Challenge Tickets to start and then three tickets every day while battles are available.
Each gym member can receive up to 30 tickets, and the Trainer Gym as a whole can use up to 600 tickets.
In Gym Battles, you use three tickets to attempt a battle, but in Extra Battles, you can choose to use one, two, or three tickets.
The time limit and Sync Buffs at the start of the battle will change depending on the number of Gym Battle Challenge Tickets used.
Try looking at the battle conditions and difficulty level to determine the number of Gym Battle Challenge Tickets you want to use.
Note: If you join the Trainer Gym in the middle of the event, you will be given the Gym Battle Challenge Tickets you would have earned since the beginning.
Note: If you receive Gym Battle Challenge Tickets as compensation or other such reasons, you may be able to use more than the stated limit.
Note: After the event ends, Gym Battle Challenge Tickets will be automatically deleted. They cannot be carried over to the next event.

How to Obtain a Score

The final score you earn will be based on the base score set for each battle and the percentage of damage inflicted during the battle.

Ranks

Your rank in a Pasio Gym Battle is determined by the battle progress.
Once your rank increases, it will not decrease.

The requirements for each rank are listed below.

• Poké Ball Tier: Circuit #1
• Great Ball Tier: Circuit #2
• Ultra Ball Tier: Circuit #3
• Master Ball Tier: Extra Battles

About Rankings

The ranking feature will be unlocked when your Combined Score reaches 1 point.
There are two types of ranking: Combined Ranking and Ranking Within Gym.
You can receive ranking rewards for your Combined Ranking.
Please note that you can only receive tickets if you reach Master Ball Tier when the rankings are confirmed.

• Combined ranking
  Combined Ranking allows you to compete against other Trainer Gyms by using the Combined Score made from the sum of your and your fellow gym members’ individual scores.
  Once you reach Master Ball Tier, your spot in the rankings will be displayed.

• Ranking within gym
  Ranking Within Gym displays the rankings within your Trainer Gym.
  The top five gym members will be listed in the rankings.

First, try to aim for the Master Ball Tier!

Obtainable Event Rewards

Combined score rewards

You can obtain a 5★ Gym Scout Ticket, Fair-Guaranteed Scout Ticket, and special Lucky Cookie based on your Combined Score!
Note: You may be able to obtain Lucky Cookies from Pasio Gym Battles in the future.

Combined ranking rewards

You can obtain rewards by achieving Master Ball Tier once the rankings are confirmed.
Also, you will acquire a Title if you place in the top 500 of the rankings, and you will receive all of the Titles that are below the one you earned.
Additionally, if your Trainer Gym is among the 100 top-ranked gyms, it will receive a special design.

Gym Battle Vouchers

You can obtain Gym Battle Vouchers as Combined score rewards and Combined ranking rewards and use them in the Gym Exchange to get various items, such as Superawakening Candies and Move Candies.
You can check the items that are obtainable in the Gym Battle Voucher category of the Gym Exchange.

Note: Please be aware the deadline for claiming rewards is the end of the ranking results announcement period. Rewards cannot be claimed if you do not log in during that time.
Note: You can check your Titles via the Titles screen in the Poryphone Menu.
Note: There are no Ranking within gym rewards.

5★ Gym Scout Ticket-Exclusive Scouts

In conjunction with Pasio Gym Battles, the 5★-Guaranteed Gym Ticket Scout has been added.
This Scout guarantees one Sync Pair from the nine gym-exclusive Sync Pairs that have appeared up to now.
The scout can be used once for every 5★ Gym Scout Ticket collected as a reward for your Combined Score.
Note: The 5★-Guaranteed Gym Ticket Scout can only be used with a 5★ Gym Scout Ticket.

Regarding Cheating

Including but not limited to the submission of inappropriate content and the use of automated means while using our services, when an account has engaged in an act we deem to be inappropriate (cheating), usage restrictions may be placed on the offending account, or access to our services may be terminated without notice in accordance with the EULA.

Note: Any user scores that are determined to be fraudulent will not be reflected in their gym’s score.
Note: We are unable to provide detailed replies to inquiries regarding usage restrictions or account terminations.
Note: We also are unable to provide replies about individual cases if you contact us about cheating done by a third party.
Note: Accounts deemed to be cheating will be removed from the rankings. It may take some time before removal is reflected in the game.

Important

• To unlock Pasio Gym Battle, you must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• To participate in a Pasio Gym Battle, you must belong to a Trainer Gym.
• You cannot leave your Trainer Gym or remove members after a Pasio Gym Battle starts until the ranking announcement period ends.
• Your area info completion data will not be carried over the next time this event returns.
• The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those you can actually obtain.
• The score necessary to obtain featured rewards may differ between events.
• It may take some time for the ranking to reflect the most recent results.
• If you win a battle after the event period ends, the record of that battle may not be reflected in the ranking.
• On some iOS devices, the app may force close when transitioning to the Battle Log screen. If this occurs, it may be possible to resolve the issue by changing the display quality to Low via Settings in the Poryphone menu.
• The time period and featured content are subject to change without notice.
